iPhone Photography

"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy." [Psalm 96:11-12]

The iPhone is a much more powerful camera than most people realize. Unlike your DSLR, it is - after all - the camera you have with you virtually all the time. I upgraded from the original iPhone SE to the iPhone 12 Mini specifically for the camera. If you understand how to use the camera for maximum effect, and how to edit pictures with tools on the iPhone itself, you can produce stunning photography. If you have an iPhone, I want to inspire you to learn how to use the powerful tool in your pocket (or purse.) All images on this web site were shot on an iPhone and edited on either an iPhone or iPad.

All photos were produced with either an iPhone 4, 4S, 6, SE (original) or 12 mini. I currently shoot with an iPhone 12 mini and use the native Camera, Camera+2, BeastCam, ProCamera, Nightcap and Slow Shutter apps. The BeastCage is an valuable iPhone photography asset.

All photographs are ©. Contact me for free use as long as credit is given. Feel free to ask questions on the comment page. Read about the theology of photography here and be sure to check out the Astrophotography page.
